Audiovisual Production Berlin Europe

Berlin

Be Busy. Be Happy. Be Berlin.

Berlin, Germany's capital city and cultural epicentre, which dates back to the 13th century. Nowadays it is known for it's history, culture, modern architecture and its thriving night life and art scene. Berlin is the place to be!

Which are the best event-friendly hotels?

Ellington Hotel Berlin  - Described as Casual Elegance in the heart of Berlin, the Ellington is just that. Located just off Kleiststraße, it is in the perfect location for transport, off-site meals, or just to see more of Berlin with ease.

The building itself, originally called 'Haus Nürnberg', is architecturally one of the most stunning, attractive and eye-catching buildings in all of Berlin. A site that your attendees are sure to remember!

Hilton Berlin – The Hilton is situated in the very city centre of Berlin, in the Mitte district. This district is home to a number of museums, restaurants, and bars (all accessible on foot), and is also on Berlin's most historic and beautiful square, the Gendarmenmarkt.

The Gendarmenmarkt is site to the Koncerthaus (concert hall), and both the French and German churches. A statue of Friedrich Schiller, a renowned poet of Germany, stands central within the square.

Hilton Berlin was also the winner of World Travel Awards 2015, receiving the award for Germany's Leading City Hotel.

Where to go and visit in your downtime?

Favourite restaurant:

Skykitchen - Skykitchen is a Michelin-starred restaurant in central Berlin, with magnificent views as far as the eye can see! The cuisine here reflects modern Germany, with only in-season produce and award-winning professionalism. It is important to call and reserve as they book up quickly!

There is no better view than at the top of Berlin!

Favourite Museum:

Museum Island (Museumsinsel) – Museum Island is the name of the northern half of the island within the Spree river, in Mitte, the central district of Berlin.

The island is home to five internationally renowned museums: The Altes Museum (Old Museum), The Neues Museum (New Museum), The Alte Nationalgalerie (Old National Gallery), The Bode Museum and The Pergamon Museum.

If you don't have time for all 5, then we recommend you visit The Pergamon Musuem. Here they house original-sized, monumental buildings that have been reconstructed for your viewing pleasure. Such buildings as the Pergamon Altar and the Market Gate of Miletus, all transported from Turkey.

Favourite Tourist Attraction:

Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) – Of course we had to tell you to visit the Brandenburg Gate. As one of the most famous, and iconic landmarks of Germany, you would be missing out if you weren't to visit it during your stay in Berlin!

Favourite Tour:

Original Berlin Walks – What better way to learn more about the beautiful city of Berlin, than with a guided walk? The original walking tours are in English, and have been operating since 1993. They have a number of varying tours, from regular group tours, to even private and educational tours. All of their tour guides are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They know how to provide a tour which is both informative and entertaining!

Favourite Dessert:

Caffe e Gelato – Arguably the best ice cream in Europe (though we're sure it is!). Caffe e Gelato is an ice cream parlour in Berlin that you just have to take the time out to visit. Not only is their ice cream homemade and delicious, but they also their creations “please both the eyes, and the taste buds”.

Wild Card:

City Segway Tours – Take some time to explore Berlin like never before! These tours are perfect for those in groups, or individuals, who want to see the sites of the city in a whole new, refreshing, and unforgettable way. There are a number of different tours you can choose from: Berlin Wall Segway Tour, Private Segway Tour, Corporate Group Tour, or of course their standard Classic City Segway Tour, which takes you to all of Berlin's must sites.

“It's a truly unique way to tour Berlin!” – City Segway Tours
